Roberto Carlos was my favourite player when growing up as a kid in the 00s. When I played football, I wasn't skillful or anything. I just loved hitting the ball hard as I can & I loved taking random shots from anywhere when playing with my friends. His that one player I can relate to when playing with my friends in the park & footy matches. I'm also a left footer so that's what also inspired me too. Brilliant player on the ps2 games too

soy del barsa pero roberto carlos es el mejor lateral izquierdo de la historia, era una maravilla verlo. Nunca he visto a un jugador con ese cañon en su pie y esos golazos que hacia.

Al lateral izquierdo mas infravalorado de la historia no le gusta este comentario. Bueno, Roberto Carlos era un superjugador, con una gran potencia, resistencia, velocidad, buen tiro lejano, pero le faltaba defensa y visión de juego. En cambio al mejor lateral izquierdo de la historia, Jordi Alba es incomparable, para empezar sus cualidades, velocidad, pase, supervision de juego, resistencia, pero en defensa tambien falla un poco pero no tanto como Roberto, y que no tiene nada de cuerpo, (Roberto era un tapón pero te daba miedo que te entrase.) Pero lo mejor mejor de Jordi Alba es la conexión que tiene con Messi, esa conexión es única, si messi fuese central entre ellos dos pasandose balones a 3metros llegan al area en nada , el Barça post neymar deberia haberse llamado la MSJ. No soy culé, me encanta Roberto Carlos pero jordi alba es mucho mejor

@@omarsaavedra4905 bueno, por dinero también juegan, ni modo que lo hagan gratis y todo jugador siempre lo hace tratando de ser el mejor de no ser así pues se hubieran dedicado a otra cosa. Hasta ahora no escuchado a un jugador diciendo que juega solo por dinero y porque sus padres le obligaron como si fuera una carrera universitaria.

Este Señor esta imbatido en su Posición. Han existido grandes Laterales izquierdos, pero Roberto Carlos llego a desbancarlos a todos. Después de su retiro no han podido ni estar cerca de su sombra los jugadores de esa posición.

I feel so old... I watched Roberto Carlos during his prime, his decline, and the rise of his eventual replacement in Marcelo, watched him grow, in his prime, and now in his decline. There's a little part of me that feel sad that R.Madrid has yet to find a short Brazilian LWB with speed, ball control and trickery to succeed these two.
