Siendo imparcial, Piqué no era ni por mucho un mal jugador, lo que sí es que solía ser bastante dubitativo e infantil en bastantes ocasiones y cuando el club pasó por momentos oscuros no poseyó el compromiso, profesionalidad, entrega y carácter que sí tuvo Puyol en una etapa similar años antes.

@futboltotal9724 Bueno en primera no estoy comparando a Gerard con Puyi para nada, si yo estoy de acuerdo que como capitán y lider nadie se acerca a lo que Carles fue pero en los malos años que pasó Puyol, el era más joven de lo que Piqué era en los peores momentos que a él le tocaron, que fueron después del prime de Piqué pero creo que te equivocas al decir que no tuvo compromiso por el club. El fue el que más se redujo su salario para que el Barcelona tuviera oportunidad de generar y pagar a otros jugadores de la plantilla. Y en cuanto a "infantil" se me hace una calificación un tanto mala, ya que el trataba de ser limpio dentro de lo que podía, no le gustaba lastimar a los rivales. Y lo de dubitativo tal vez al final de su carrera por que en términos generales tanto en defensa como en creación de juego y en ataque siempre fue muy seguro en las decisiones que tomaba.

Piqué was the best defender for Barcelona since 2010, he was the one that won almost every ball for Barcelona in the defensive zone and Jordi's season here and the next one were amazing but you're judging them only for 2 games (Roma and Liverpool) when in those matches none of the players looked good, not even Messi. If u don't know that please shut up. And also, Coutinho WAS a weak signing i'm sorry but he started fine but he quickly was shut off, Inesta was looking better and it was his last season with the team. And if you say that "He wasn't playing in his natural position" guess what? Mascherano wasn't playing in his natural position either as a defender and he did it great, neither was Iniesta cause they pushed him to the left wing or Paulinho cause he was pushed to the right wing and he was a great signing.
