Honestly speaking Vinicius killed it for not passing that ball to well positioned Mbape. Mbape would have score with just 1 shot. Vinicius decided to pass the ball to Rodrygo that was distance wide from the post.

The team is unbalanced . The midfield and attack is just full of runners with no dictator. A better set up is having Arda, a player who can drift inside midfield link up play and knows how to keep the ball . Carlo has to be ruthless otherwise they’ll be more embarrassing results ahead.

Ancelotti has struggled with rotation since the start. It's unfortunate, but nowadays most football fans know Ancelotti so well that they can easily predict his substitutions and timing. They should play 4-2-3-1 with Bellingham working closely with Mbappe. While Mbappe drifts to the wings, Bellingham occupies the Center forward position and Vini/Rodrygo make inverted runs for the cutback. Mbappe should utilize his pace more often to get in behind the defence and make overlapping runs, instead of exchanging positions with Vini.

Kroos's ability to control the game and deliver precise passes is something Valverde hasn't been able to replicate. That’s what I’ve noticed since the last 2 games Ancelotti needs to rotate more Real Madrid needs more creativity.

Overall, it was a good match from Vinicius Jr and Rodrygo in my humble opinion as someone who watched the full game. People in the comments/chat say that "Kylian and Vini didn't want to pass the ball to each other" but that's a complete lie (examples like 1:13 where Vini passes to Mbappé, they looked for each other on the field several times, the point is that it's only Kylian Mbappé's 2nd game with the Real Madrid shirt, he needs to get a little more in tune with the squad). What Carlo Ancelotti really needs to solve at the beginning of the season is how to make the midfield more secure after Toni Kroos' retirement, maybe one of these ways is by moving Jude Bellingham back alongside Valverde and making Tchouaméni the guy who will cover the defenders as he was before, or by making Luka Modrić a starter in the team to help with holding the ball, or just making the starting XI get more and more used to the proposal of game so that little by little this problem is solved, it is also one of the possible good choices to make. 😅😅

Se siente que ya no está Kroos. Mbappe no está cómodo jugando de 9, todas las jugadas de peligro que él generó fueron por la banda, siento que Carlo tiene que cambiar la formación de alguna forma y definitivamente buscar alguien que pueda controlar el medio y definitivamente no es Tchoameni. Modric entró y hubo gran cambio. Insisto en que Arda debería de jugar, hizo una Euro increíble y no está recibiendo lo que merece.

Vino jugó regular, dio sus pases pero es demasiado individualista, yo los amo a todos pero no puedes tapar el sol con un dedo, mira que me encanta el ataque pero si ves que no está funcionando el tema hay que hacer cambios aun así haya que sacar a algún jugador y probar cosas, si mi Madrid juega a como jugó en los partidos que vienen nos daremos una decepción y de verdad que es lo que menos quiero ahora. Menos ofensiva, más control, no tenemos a Toni o a Modric en su mejor momento, pero se puede formar a uno para que lo sea

I seeing a very high overload in the left wing and that's gonna be a problem .. vini and mbappe fighting for the left wing and Rodrygo drifts dere too so it leaves the left open and the cf without a finish ..this was the same problem with mbappe and neymar .. he kept drifting over in neymar territory and forcing neymar to drift out of his position .. that problem need to fix or they will have to pick between vini and mbappe
